You are bidding on a 1 Family owned 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. TITLE. PROTECTOPLATE. There have been 3 owners and all in the same family. It has been New since bought by the Brother Gary DeBoom off the showroom floor in May of 1968. He sold it to his brother Kermit in 1972 and drove through 1978. It has been in storage and taken out occasionally since 1984. It's a true time capsule. It is a numbers matching Camaro and was purchased from Floyd Horton Chevrolet in Sibley, Iowa. Except for the dual exhaust, radial tires, and some other repair items, it is all original. The dealer installed the Power Steering, bumper guards before delivery. It is powered by a 327 V8 that is original to the car. Automatic transmission on the console. The car has a black bucket seats and interior. Manual windows and locks. There shows 102,648 miles on the odometer. The body is good, but the owner noted that the driver's door was hit in a parking lot and they used Bondo to repair in front of the driver's quarter. See pictures. It has a poor body line from repair, I noted. The car is cream in color and original paint, except for the repair. In 2018 Replaced the Master Cylinder and wheel cylinders and new brake lines and hoses. IN 2019 replaced the Duel exhaust system from Manifold back. New fuel pump. New heater core and hoses. New water pump and belts. In 2020 put in a new Carb kit, float, and some other repairs. The car runs and drives. There is some rust on the lower edges of the quarters and wheel wells. This is an amazing car for the years and has been garaged and kept. What a treasure and would be a great addition to anyone's' collection. This is part of the Redwood County Truck & Car Auction.
